3rd March 2008 TCC News: £1,000,000 turnover secured

Following recent contract awards, Thomas Crompton Contracting Ltd has secured in excess of £1,000,000 turnover, since commencement of trading last summer. 

28th February 2008 Contract News: Healey Estate (Phase 2), Batley
Thomas Crompton Contracting Ltd has been awarded the earthworks package of this residential development for Client Richardson Projects. The works will involve the reduced level excavation and offsite disposal of 15,000m3 of soils to form new building platforms, following the demolition of existing residential properties which is being carried out by Thomas Crompton Developments Ltd. Works are due to commence on the 10th March 2008.
21th February 2008 Contract News: Various Locations, Pudsey
TCC Ltd has been awarded a second phase of demolition works at various locations in the Pudsey area. The works will involve the demolition, site clearance and regrading of the six individual sites.
11th February 2008 TCC News: TCC achieves CHAS accreditation.

Thomas Crompton Contracting Ltd has successfully achieved accreditation within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

8th February 2008 Contract News: Thirstin Mill, Honley

Thomas Crompton Contracting has been awarded the remediation and enabling works package of this residential development for Delacy Construction Ltd. Works will involve bulk excavation and offsite disposal, construction of temporary earthworks platforms to facilitate the excavation and soil-nailing of a 180 metre long batter with a 70 degree slope. Following this, site won materials will be processed and used to form a capping layer over the regraded site. TCC will be employed as Principal Contractor for the 16 week contract which is due to start at the end of March. 

31st January 2008 Contract News: Stourton Business Park, Leeds

Works are now well under way on this partial demolition and refurbishment of an existing 5,000m2 warehouse unit. Working closely with the Principal Contractor, Cleckheaton Construction Ltd, who are carrying out structural modifications, TCC are employed to carry out the removal of the existing first floor within the building. All materials from the removal of the concrete floor and associated columns will be processed on site for future use in external development works. TCC’s element of the works commenced in December with the dismantling and removal of an overhead crane and the buildings air-conditioning system, and is due to be complete by the end of April.
